I stopped taking my ARVs 2019, now I want to start again. Will I a have side effect?

Have you kept up with your viral load and CD4 count testing?
What was the treatment you were on before? do you want to continue with the same treatment?
Most people don’t have a problem restarting. If you are using the same medication, if you didn’t have side effects before, there would be no reason to experience new side effects.
It is recommended to have a viral load test a few weeks/months after restarting. This is to check that your viral load is being suppressed and the medication is working.
Why did you stop treatment in 2019?
