Q and A

Question

I take my medication at different times…

I’m taking my medication at different times e.g., I take them at 20h00 sometimes at 17h00 sometimes at 19h00

Answer

Hi, how are you doing?

HIV medication should be taken at the same time each day.

It can be taken within an hour of a set time e.g., if you normally take your medicine at 17:00 you can take it between 16:30 and 17:30.

Leaving longer gaps between medication can lead to it not working as well.

Is there a reason you are taking your medication at different times? Some people find it helps to set an alarm as a reminder each day.

Josh.
