Hi, how are you doing?

HIV treatment is a daily medication. Unfortunately it cannot cure HIV.

Most commonly HIV treatment is 1 pill taken once a day. It works by suppressing HIV and preventing it having any impact on your body.

This treatment cannot remove HIV from the body, instead it stops it being active. This is why you need to take the treatment daily.

There is no benefit from taking more treatment than what your doctor has prescribed. Taking more tablets than recommended will not remove HIV from the body and instead cause it’s own problem with your health.
