Q and A

Question

I have had 5 negative HIV tests, what are the chances I have HIV?

I visited Indonesia and had vaginal sex without protection. We tested for HIV and the results came back negative.

When I researched on the internet I found out that we may both be in the window period for HIV. So I took 4 more tests after 5 days, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks and 10 weeks. All tests were negative. Please help me I am worried, what are the chances I have HIV?

Answer

Thank you for your question.

If you have had 5 tests and all were negative then you do not have HIV. You do not need any more tests and you do not need to worry.
