I have had three negative HIV tests, do I need another one?

Hi, I had sex with a girl and two days later got very sick with a bad throat, night sweats, lost loads of weight, pains all over my body. 4 months on, my stools are very loose, I can’t put weight on at all. I had a HIV test at 2 weeks, 9 weeks and 12 weeks – all came back negative. I have a white tongue all the time, I am very worried do you think I should test again?

If you have had three negative HIV tests then you do not have HIV. The symptoms you describe are very common and could be caused by many different things. You should go to your doctor and explain these symptoms to him/her so that they can investigate further.
