Can you get HIV from a bit of blood in the eye?

In theory it is possible. However, it would be very difficult to get HIV this way. The amount of blood that would have to be in contact with your eye would have to be substantial and this blood would need to be from someone with a very high viral load. It is highly unlikely that someone would get HIV this way.
