Do I need to take Atripla at the same time each day?

I don’t always take my Atripla on time. I take it every night but not at the exact same time. Should I be worried that it will stop working??

If your viral load is undetectable on Atripla, then a few hours either side of the normal dose time will probably be fine.

This is because the three drugs in Atripla all have good drug levels at the end of a 24 hour dose period.

A few hours late or early should be okay but it is good you are not missing doses completely.
