Do you think that I will be susceptible to all medications as well?

Hi there,
My partner has HIV wild type virus (is this the correct description?); he had a resistance test and is fully susceptible to all HIV meds. He is on Truvada and Sustiva. My question is neither of ‘sleep around’ and have contracted the virus from either me or him. I am not on meds yet. Do you think I will be susceptible to all meds as well? With many thanks.
Answer
As long as one of you has infected the other partner and afterwards neither of you have been exposed further to HIV, then you will have the wild type as well, which means that you will be susceptible to all medications too.
If the above scenario is not the case, then it is hard to predict as there are many determinants.
