Shall I retest?

Hello I am from the Czech Republic.
I had unprotected sex in January. I can’t get HIV out my head. I had a full STD and HIV screening 13 weeks (96 days) after and all the results were negative. Can I trust these results or must I go again for a HIV screening after 6 monts?
Answer
This time should be more than enough with the modern test and you can rely on the results.
As a rule though, we advise everybody with an active sexual life to get tested regularly-say every 6 months.
