Q and A

Question

Why have i been changed from Atroiza to Tribuss?

My clinic just changed me from Tribuss to Atroiza. What is the problem? Will i get side effects?

Answer

Hi,

Tribuss and Atroiza are both generic versions (copies) of a pill called Atripla. They all contain the same ingredients and work in the same way. They only have different names because they are made by different companies.

Because they both contain the same ingredients you should not get any new side effects.

You can find more information about Atripla/Atroiza/Tribuss in our online HIV meds guide.

Hi Tsepo, as mentioned in the main answer, Atroiza and Trisbuss are the same medication. The only difference being their name and what they look like. Has anything else changed in the last few days that might have caused this? do you have any other symptoms?

Hi Jimmy, Trenvir and Atroiza are the same combination of drugs. They have different names as they are made by different companies. Using Atroiza instead of Trenvir will not have any difference in how it is treating your wife.
