Can I drink cola or other soda?

I found out three months ago that I am HIV positive and I immediately started on ART the very same day. My question is on drinking cola. Will drinking cola affect my CD4 and viral load?

Great you started treatment – this will be good for your health and also protect your partners.
Drinking cola will not affect your CD4 or viral load. It does contain a lot of sugar though, so is not a good drink for your general health, especially if you drink too much cola :)
Hi Johannes, thanks. Please can you say what the numbers are. Without the numbers it is difficult to comment. When some people say low for example, it can sometimes be very normal or good. Please say the rough numners at different dares over time.
