About us
HIV i-Base is an HIV treatment activist organisation, founded in April 2000.
We focus on providing timely and up to date information about HIV treatment and related issues.
This includes developing easy language resources and a Q&A service for people living with HIV. It also includes more technical reports for health professionals.
All resources are produced by and with the involvement of people living with HIV positive and a medical advisory group.
We believe that everyone living with HIV should be able to be as actively involved in their own care as they want to be. This including in every decision about HIV treatment.
Since August 2024, i-Base has been restructuring to respond to the continued difficulties of funding.
About our guides
