European guidelines on statins in people living with HIV (EACS 2024)

In June 2024, EACS published a short 8-page interim guidelines on the use of statin therapy for the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in people living with HIV in Europe.

The key recommendations were formed based on the best assessment of the evidence at the time of writing. As new evidence emerges, the guidance will be updated accordingly.
