I was diagnosed with HIV two years ago. I feel healthy though so I haven’t seen doctor yet. is this OK?
Answer
Hi,
It is important that you go to the clinic. They can let you know how you are doing. You may feel fine but it is important to get checked out. They can let you know what your CD4 count is and how fast or slowly your HIV has progressed.
If you are worried about starting treatment you can find lots of information on our website. HIV treatment today works very well and many people who have HIV can expect to live long and comparatively healthy lives.
