I am in Cape Town. I am on HIV pills. Last week i got pills that said something different from before. What’s going on?
Answer
Hi,
In South Africa they use a lot of generic tablets. Generic tables are copies of brand name tablets. They work in exactly the same way and contain the same ingredients. They only have different names because the are made by different companies.
This might be why your pills say something different now. You can also ask your clinic or doctor about this. They can explain what is going on.
