ARVs aren’t known to cause fertility problems in women.
If you’ve been trying for a while, please talk to your doctor who can help.

If you’ve not had a period since 2016, you’re going to need to see a specialist. Your being on ARVs and being positive won’t be the reason why your periods have stopped.
Hi iam taking Arvs from 2011 I missed my period since 2016 I want to know can i still fall pregnant without periods the doctor told me that everything is fine n he don’t see any problem.

HIV treatment is not known to cause fertility problems in women. Please talk to your doctor who can help. You can ask to be referred to the fertility clinic.

I’m sorry you’re feeling stressed. But it’s a good idea to talk to the clinic and ask them about the reason for the smear test.
However, here in the UK all women between the ages of 25 and 64 are recommended to go for regular cervical screening like this.

Being positive won’t be the reason why you haven’t conceived, this is because HIV doesn’t impact on a woman’s fertility. Neither do ARVs. If you have itchy skin, this will need to be seen by a doctor.
I am having problems of getting pregnant help l am HIV for 8 years now and l have a problem with my skin it itching every time
