Dear Cecilia, thanks for your question and I am sorry that you are having this problem. Where about do you live and how old is your baby?

I am not a doctor and cannot give advice about dosing that is not in the package but please can you check this with a doctor. Although Odinsti (dolutegravir) can be taken as a double dose if needed, this would not be recommended with Dumiva (abacavir and lamivudine), certainly not in adults. Also, how long has your baby been taking these meds? If this is already more than a few weeks, your baby is still likely to be okay if the meds come soon, even though the break in treatment is not ideal.

Please double check the dose information though with a doctor.

Hi my baby did not take her meds (Odinsti and Dumiva) for 2 days ..due to the pharmacy not having it on stock..while I ordered it 4days ago..will this affect her badly..the pharmacist said I should give her double dose when I receive the medication..is this right?

Hi Mandy, congratulations on your pregnancy. Do you know what your viral load is? Missing your medication for 2 days is not very likely to be a problem for you or baby. Most medication remains in the body long enough that being a day or 2 late with your treatment will not allow HIV to be active again.
