I’ve been prescribed PrEP, can vegans take this?

Truvada, the medication that’s used to as PrEP contains lactose monohydrate, which as noted in the following link: https://www.drugs.com/inactive/lactose-monohydrate-368.html  derives from milk. Therefore, it’s very possible that the medication that you’ve been prescribed isn’t suitable for Vegans.

This is something that you may wish to discuss with the person who prescribed you the PrEP.
