How long should I be on PEP?

Hello, I was exposed to HIV and started taking PEP within 24 hours. I was being the top and condom did not broke or anything but I wanted to take it as prevention. I was only given Truvada, for how long should I take it and when should I do HIV testing?

As the condom did not break there is no risk of transmission. You do not need to be on PEP.
A regular course of PEP lasts for 28 days. Usually one tablet per day.
You can test 6 weeks after finishing PEP with a 4th generation antigen/antibody test. This result will be conclusive.
