Q and A

Question

Can I live in Norway with HIV?

Can I live as an HIV positive person in Norway…or any other European countries? I am currently a university student in Bangladesh but I was planning to study in Europe for master’s and then settle there. Will HIV affect my plan?

Answer

Hi, how are you doing?

Many countries in Western Europe do not have restrictions for those living with HIV.

In Norway there are no restrictions for people with HIV to enter and be granted visas for work/residency.

This also remain true for the UK.

Josh.

Hi Farhan, as i-base is a UK based company I do not know details of HIV treatment access in Norway. Are you able to contact your local Norwegian embassy? They will be able to put you in contact with a similar charity to i-base that is local in Norway.
