Congratulations on having a baby.
Do you want to stop breastfeeding completely? If you do and want to switch to formula feeding it is safe to do so.
If you want to mix feed, this does increase the risk of transmission. Baby can start mix feeding from 6 months and older.
Why do you want yo stop breastfeeding? and has baby been on/is on medication?

Hi Anonymous. Yes. After 6 months it is safe to breastfeed and formula feed together. After 6 months solid foods can start being introduced to baby’s diet.
