Is my baby going to test positive?

I started ART when I was 24 weeks pregnant and I’m still on it. My CD4 count is 558. Is my baby going to test positive?

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
It is great that you have started ART. This is the best way to keep both you and baby healthy.
Many women do not find out their status much later in pregnancy and/or are not on ART.
Do you know your viral load? Being on treatment means it is very likely that baby will be HIV negative. Baby will also be given their own medication for a short while after birth to further reduce risk.
