Will vaginal sores go away if I start treatment?

Hi, I am starting to have vaginal sores and I have a little cough that goes away after long time. I got tested positive 10 years ago, I’ve never been in a treatment. I am scared to start treatment, and if I start treatment will all these sores go away?

Why have you been scared to start treatment?
Have you had any recent testing for CD4 count and viral load?
Have you spoken with a doctor about these symptoms? Starting treatment might help with these and it will help with your overall health, but you need to make sure what these vaginal sores are being caused by. If they are caused by HIV, ARVs will help with them but if they are caused by something different, this will require different management.
