What if I was an hour late for the first dose of PrEP?

I misunderstood how we should take on-demand PrEP and I took first doze before having sex.

Will it still be effective or should I take PEP?

Please do not worry.

The window for HIV infection to occur is faily wide – possible needing a couple of days.

This means that being an hour later will not affect PrEP from working.

Both meds in PrEP also have a good coverage time.
