Can I develop drug resistance being late with treatment?

So can I still get sick if I’m on ART? I’ve not been taking them regularly on time but not more than an hour late. Is this a problem I’ve only started for 7 months. Can I develop drug resistance? Should I be worried?

Have you had recent viral load and CD4 testing?
What is the name of the medication you are taking?
As you are never more than an hour late this is unlikely to risk any resistance. Though it is always best to keep to the same time every day. Is there a reason you are being late sometimes?
And are you taking your treatment daily? This is the biggest factor about developing drug resistance if you are skipping days.
To help take your treatment at the same time so people find it helpful to use alarms, or you can use a dosset box and build it into your daily routine of when to take your medication.
