Can my meds work if I had sex without condom and he did not put his sperm in me but he has HIV too?

Is your partner on treatment also?

As long as your partner does not have poor adherence with their treatment, your meds will still work.

This means your partner could not be on treatment at all, or they take their meds everyday.

In this case your meds will prevent transmission in the first instance, or there will be no risk with the second.
