I missed my doses on Wednesday and Thursday…

Hello, I have by accident missed my Wednesday and Thursday dose and only started again taking Thursday’s in the evening followed by Friday morning at my usual time. I have been on TLD for 4 months.

Do you know your viral load?
Missing 2 doses is not going have a significant effect on your treatment.
Missing doses occasionally for a day or two is not long enough to risk your treatment not working.
As you were able to restart Thursday and then continue with your normal time on Friday, you do not need to be concerned. Do you know when your next viral load test will be?
Can I ask what happened to cause you to miss these two doses? Accidents do happen and this is fine, but it is a good idea to find ways that this doesn’t happen again. Is the time you take your treatment normally a time that works for you?

Hi Mae, congratulations on having a baby. No this will not have any effect.
It is okay being a little late with treatment. The usual recommendation is to have your treatment within an hour of your normal time e.g., if your normal time is 8am it is safe to take it between 7:30am and 8:30am. Taking treatment within this hour is regular enough to not risk your treatment failing.
Hi, I’m breastfeeding and I have missed taking by dose twice in two weeks.for example, I took it 15min late last week and I also took it 30min this week. All because my alarm went off while I was sleeping. I want to know if this will have any effect if my VL since it is undetactae

Thank you for your response . I was due for surgery in July but my cd4 count was 149 . My doctor prescribed TLD .
I was under unusual amount of stress.
I am due for another test shortly.
