Is my treatment effective?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and started on Emtricitabine / Tenofovir + Atazanavir + Ritonavir is this effective treatment and I am worried about possible side effects

Yes this treatment is effective. It is safe to take while pregnant, keeping you healthy and helping to prevent transmission to baby.
Have you discussed any side effects with the doctor who has prescribed the medication? and are there any that are concerning you the most?
Do you know your renal function/have you had problems with your kidneys before? There is some risk that taking these drugs together can cause problems with your kidneys. This means that your renal function should be monitored by your doctor. If you already have healthy kidneys, this is less of a risk.
