Q and A

Question

Will cloves interact with TLD?

Hi. Can I use dry cloves to treat dental discomfort – putting it in the tooth cavity to relieve pain – without fear that doing so would interact with my TLD medication? Thank you.

Answer

Hi, how are you doing?

TLD and cloves will not interact. It is safe to use them together.

Josh.

Hello Sir Nga and thanks for getting in touch.

I can’t answer that question without more specific information, I am afraid.

Please use this site to check for interactions:

Hello Jacqueline and thank you for the question. Sea moss gel contains metals like zinc, calcium and magnesium which interact with TLD. They should not be taken together because we do not know the quantities of these metals.
Please discuss with your doctor or pharmacist before starting any supplements.

Hi Gift, I am sorry that I don’t have any information about maca root. Please ask your pharmacist if you are worried about a drug interaction,

Hi Zandiy, I do not recognise Gobho as a medicine.

To avoid any risk of interaction, it is advised to take them at opposite ends of the day e.g., ARVs in the morning and Gobho in the evening. This is a long enough gap to prevent any risk of interaction.

    Josh.

Is it safe to take ARVs with Gobho medicine. Any interactions between the two?
