Will cloves interact with TLD?

Hi. Can I use dry cloves to treat dental discomfort – putting it in the tooth cavity to relieve pain – without fear that doing so would interact with my TLD medication? Thank you.

TLD and cloves will not interact. It is safe to use them together.

Unfortunately, I cannot check for interactions without knowing which specific treatment you are receiving for HIV (the names of the medication).
However, natural teas shouldn’t be a such a problem unless these are products you are buying and might have more ingredients or different concentrations of the natural herbs.
If that is the case please note that many herbal supplements contain metals which can interact with a lot of ARVs
To be sure you can always check with a pharmacist

I am not familiar with cloves water I am afraid.
If this is like a tea you make yourself from cloves then chances are this will not interact with your ARVs.
However, if this is a supplement, it might be better to speak to your doctor about this.
Also, if you are using cloves to manage menopause symptoms, your doctor should be in a position to offer you support with medication and agents that will not interact with your ARVs.
