HIV and Oral thrush
Hi there. I’ve been on HIV treatment about 3 months. However my oral thrush is not healed. How to heal it? Any suggestions?

Are you currently on treatment for HIV and what is your CD4 count?
What medications have you tried to treat the oral thrush? have you used gels or have you also tried tablets?
In persistent oral thrush it is recommended to be seen by a specialist, usually a dermatologist. Is this something you would have access to through your doctor?
At i-base we are not doctors and cannot provide medical advise. Has your doctor suggested anything further that you can try?
