Can PEP cause skin reactions?

Is Truvada or Tivicay known to cause allergic reactions? For example, redness of skin to face chest neck. I am taking these for HIV PEP. Reactions started approximately ten days into regimen and I tested HIV negative before starting PEP.

PEP meds are chosen because they generally have a low risk of side effects.
However, rare skin reactions can occur to many different drugs and it is important that any rash is seen by a doctor.
The doctor can then decide whether it is better to use different meds as PEP.

Finally, you, like most people, forget that there are other infections and bugs out there.
I would recommend having a full sexual health screen (including gonorrhoea, syphilis, chlamydia, etc.) 6 weeks after you finish PEP
That will tell you whether you picked up something or not definitively. The window period for syphilis is 3 months though.

I tested negative at the beginning of treatment.Is it possible to develop symptoms in November when i finished treatment in june 2025. Now in November i have started feeling tired, pain in joints and itch skin only no other symptoms
