Does cinnamon react with any of the HIV treatment drugs?

I have a question, as usual, for your help.

I read that honey mixed with cinnamon is effective for different body malfunctions. Does cinnamon react with any of the HIV treatment drugs?

Thank you for your question.

Cinnamon does not react with HIV treatments. What sort of ‘body malfunctions’ are you referring to? It might help to explain them to me and I can give you information on how to manage them if they are side effects or generally HIV-related. Thanks.

    Hi Swazikazi, cinnamon will have no interaction with ARVs and will not interfere with pregnancy.

    Hi Bethuel, yes you can. As cinnamon does not interact with ARVs it is okay to drink cinnamon.
