Does a non-reactive test after 6 months mean I am HIV negative?

i had sexual exposure in august 2007. i went for antibody test at the end of three month and the result was non-reactive.
i went for antibody test at the end of six month and the result was non-reactive again.
After the incident in august2007 i have not involved myself in any risky behaviour .
is this result reliable enough to consider myself hiv negative. do i need further testing?
Answer
Non-reactive 6 months after exposure means that you are HIV negative.
You do not need another test.

Hi Kumar, there is no cross link between testing for HIV and typhoid. Your HIV tests are accurate and it is conclusive that you do not have HIV.
At the fourth month of testing when you were diagnosed with typhoid, has this now been treated?

I had a exposure on September 5 2023. after that often I have sick so I tested on 6th week 4th generation, 3rd month rapid test both are came negative. On fourth month I had a typhoid fever the widal test came positive. So again on 6th month I tested antibody test it’s came negative. Any cross link between hiv and typhoid. I tested all other STD which is also negative.I’m very anxious now a days.

I got exposed at the end of march 2023, i started having server headache, rashes on my bumbum after 2weeks of exposure. In June, that’s about 3month after the exposure, I went for test and it came out non-reactive. I went again for test in October 2023 it came back negative did and test in January 2024 the result came back negative. Does this mean am negative because and still having this server headache and the rashes on my bumbum is not leaving entirely even when am using antifungal cream taking antibiotics
Hi Precious, the results are conclusive. You do not have HIV and you do not need any further testes. You are HIV negative.
