Do I have to pay for meds if I work in the UK?

Answer
Anyone who is able to work in the UK is eligible for free emergency NHS care and free access to HIV testing.
Some working visa’s only provide full NHS cover after you have been legally in the UK for 12 months.
After this access to testing, monitoring and treatment is free, so you would not be charged for HIV treatment.
Please call the i-Base phoneline if you want more information.
