Is my premature ejaculation related to HIV?

Hi,
I have been HIV positive for more than 6 years and am still without any treatment. Recently I am facing a challenge with sex – early ejaculation. Can this be connected with the virus? How can I be free of this problem if this is the place to ask such a question, please provide me your usual help!

Sexual dysfunction is a common problem in people with HIV. This is mainly related to erectile dysfunction, reduced sex drive, and difficulty reaching orgasm. However, premature ejaculation could be realted to psychosocial factors which are similar in all sexual dysfunctions related to HIV. You need to talk to your HIV doctor so that he/she can find out what is causing this.

Hi Jone, thanks. This is not reported as a side effect of any HIV meds. Did it only happen after you started treatment?
Did anything else change at about the same time – such as how you felt about having sex, or having new partners etc. Either way, your sexual health is very important. Please talk to your doctor about this so they can look at the cause and find effective treatments that can help.

I am under treatment of hiv injection. I have a problem of early ejaculation. Maybe it’s the infuence of medication?
