Do ARVs make bones stiff?

Is bone stiffness related to ARVs. My girlfriend was putting on high shoes and was presenting a lesson for one hour twenty minutes, then her toes became stiff.

It is possible that this incident was caused by long periods of standing up in high heeled shoes! However, bones do age more quickly in people with HIV.
