Should I take medication for a bladder problem ?

I am HIV-positive and also have bladder problem. Should I carry on taking medication for the bladder problem?
Answer
Generally, any non-HIV related health problem still has to be managed and/or treated in HIV-positive people, just as in HIV-negative people.
You HIV doctor or pharmacist needs to know about this though, to make sure there are no drug-drug interactions between other meds and your HIV treatment,
I can’t comment on bladder problems specifically, but if you need meds, it sounds important to keep taking them.
