Does taking Atripla with food causes resistance?

I am on Atripla and it says for best results take on an empty stomach. What happens if i take it after meal? I usually arrive late at home from work. As a results I come home hungry and I cannot go to bed with an empty stomach. Can this cause resistance too?

Answer

It is fine to to take Atripla with food as long as the food does not contain high fat content .  Food with high fat content will increase the drug level by 60%.
