How can I postpone starting treatment and what is a resistance test?

I have been reading your questions and answers with interest. I discovered I was HIV-positive 5 months ago and my CD4 count was 1074. Am a female aged 32.
Am trying to eat healthly what would recommend so that I stay for sometime without taking ART. As I know I will start in the future.
Then you say in the UK you do a resistance test. How is it done and how do the results look like.

It is great that you have discovered your status fairly early and when your CD4 count is still high. This means that you will be more aware of what is going on with your body and will be able to make the right desicions following
