Could I have lipoatrophy if I am not on meds?

I have been pos for 18 months, not yet on meds.

I’m convinced I have lost fat from my hands, arms and legs. Could this be due to HIV, or is perhaps cause I am analysing my body more.

I’m not yet on medication.

More likely that you are worrying.

This isn’t reported in people not on treatment.

You may have weight loss, and as with anything you are worried about, mention this to your doctor.
