My CD4 is good, why am I nervous?

My CD4 has been around 450 to 511 in last four years. I am healthy and have no other problems. I am not on treatment.
Why am I nervous? Are these CD4 counts OK?

Thanks for your email. Your CD4 count is very good and shows that your immune system is strong. It’s good that this is stable, but it’s important to keep being monitored regularly and checking this every 3-6 months if possible.
It’s normal to feel anxious about HIV, especially if you don’t have support to help you deal with this. Do you know anybody else who is HIV positive or do you have any support? Your clinic should be able to introduce you to a support group in your area, or if you would like to tell me where you live I can try to suggest a local organisation.
