My mother is HIV positive. Can i be a carrier?

Hi,

There is no such thing as a carrier in HIV. If someone has HIV they are HIV positive. If they do not have it they are HIV negative. There isn’t anything in between. If you have tested negative then you do not need to worry about having gotten HIV from your mother.
