How important is it to take food with Eviplera?

Hi, I’m on Eviplera, but on 1 occasion 2 weeks ago I took my meds without food.

It was a one off & I always take the required food intake. Will this affect me?

It sounds like you are doing really well with your meds.

You are right to be careful in taking Eviplera with food. Unless you do this the meds will only be half as active.

However, missing the food once or twice will still be okay. Modern HIV meds means that even if you miss a dose completely, it will still be okay.

So long as this doesn’t happen very often, this will still all be fine.
