Question

My drug is labelled ‘LA75’…

I was using TLD and today I went to the another hospital they give me LA75 is it the same drug?(does it work the same)

Answer

Hi,

Please could you check this with your pharmacist or the doctor who prescribed this at the hospital.

Many different manufacturers make the same drugs but have a different brand name. It is difficult from the UK to know all these different names, but perhaps ask your doctor or pharmacist if they have a list.

All these medicines should usually list the active ingredients though and this is another way to check,

If your doctor or pharmacy is giving you a different version of your meds, they should tell you first as otherwise it can be very stressful and worrying.

Josh.

Hello Isaac and thanks for getting in touch

In all honesty I am not sure what is the medication your girlfriend had in her bag.

I know however, that it is her right to tell you or not.

If you are afraid of something you should discuss and ensure you are taking the right action to protect yourself

This is your responsibility. Not the other persons.

In sex, that action would be to use condoms or take PrEP.

I saw a 75 medication in my girlfriends’ bag and asked her about it. She said the doctor gave it to her in 2022 when she went to hospital. So please tell me the use
