Hi there, I am HIV positive and my viral load is undetectable. I was also given nevirapine and I was mix feeding. At the 6 weeks check up they said my baby was negative so am no longer given nevirapine and am mix feeding,
Will my baby be negative?

Congratulations – and great news that everything is going so well.
For all Qs about a baby’s meds, we always say this needs to be checked with the clinic.
i-Base are not doctors and we cannot give advice on starting and stopping meds, especially for a baby.
It sounds like your clinic is giving you good care though and this will mean your baby will continue to be protected.
