Do I need another test?
16 August 2010. Related: All topics, HIV testing, HIV transmission.
I had vaginal sex last on 9th May 2010 and took an HIV test on 16th July 2010. The result was negative. I took it only 2.5 months and not 3 months after the exposure, will it affect the results of my test?
My doctor did not mention about this window period. I have no symptoms at all but I also found out that HIV does not have symptoms. Shall I take another test? Thanks!
