What is the connection between ARS, seroconversion and early detection of antibodies?

What is the connection between acute retroviral syndrome (ARS) and seroconversion (detection of antibodies)? An early (2 weeks) ARS means early detection of antibodies?
Thank you

Answer

Thank you for your questions. Acute retroviral syndrome (ARS) is a collection of symptoms which are associated to the primary phase of HIV Infection. Seroconversion is what happens after a person experiences the collections of symptoms. We know symptoms can be caused by other factors including stress and the flu. HIV cannot be diagnosed based on symptoms, only by testing.
