Does Famvir react with my HIV treatment?

I have been taking Famvir (famciclovir) for shingles for 4 days now and while the shingles are clearing up I have really bad diarrhoea, can Famvir react with my HIV meds and cause this?

It would help me to give amore specific answer if you could please let me know which HIV meds you are taking, when you started taking them and what your CD4 count was when you started meds and what it is now.
Famciclovir only has the potential to interact with tenofovir (also in Truvada). All other HIV meds should be fine. It is possible that the diarrhoea you are experiencing is a side effect of the famciclovir rather than due to a drug interaction with HIV meds.
