International AIDS treatment advocacy group says overhaul needed to reach new G8 treatment goals

The fourth update of the Missing the Target report from the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC), was launched at the start of the IAS meeting in Sydney, and provides new data from 17 countries, including:
- Analyses from six new countries: Cambodia, China, Malawi, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
- Updates from six countries profiled in past reports: Dominican Republic, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia, and South Africa
- Short summaries from five new countries: Argentina, Belize, Cameroon, Malaysia, and Morocco
ITPC members from 17 countries will be available to answer questions on the state of AIDS treatment access and outline the specific and immediate actions needed at global and country levels.
