Is it safe to take Aluvia, lamivudine and zidovudine when you’re pregnant?

Hi I’m am currently taking Aluvia 200mg/50mg and Lamivudine and Zidovudine 150/300. I suspect that I am pregnant. Should I be worried about my treatment possibly harming my baby? Is it safe to carry on with the pregnancy?

The ARVs that you are taking are safe to take whilst pregnant. Therefore, you do not need to worry about your combination.

    Hi Harvey,

    If you’ve been off meds for a month your viral load will have rebounded. This means that your HIV will no longer be under control. If you were to just take the aluvia you wouldn’t be getting a full combination.
    If you’ve been off meds for a month, you’ll need to talk to your doctor about this. They’ll need to check your viral load and CD4 count as well as discuss treatment options with you.

    What are the consequences of missing treatment for a month? I’m on alluvial, latitudinal and zidovudine. Can I continue with just the alluvial alone?

    If your Mom doesn’t want to talk about it, then that’s fine. I think it’s okay, whatever the reason, and I hope she’s doing well.

    Hi I recently found Aluvia and didivir tablets on my mom’s bag. She refused to talk about it. Does this mean that she may be hiv positive and on ARV treatment?

    Hi Lindia,

    Tribuss isn’t usually taken with any other drugs. It wouldn’t classed as first line either, as its first line. Do you know what this person is resistant to? Do you have their treatment history.

    Can one take the Tribuss together with Aluvia, the patient was told he is on 3rd line. Is n’t this toxic? a cobination with Efavirenz and Aluvia
